JKEJCC to hold day-long protest in support of their demands

The Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JKEJCC) today said it will hold a day-long protest in support of their demand at all district headquarters across the state on May 23.

"We will be holding protest demonstrations at all district headquarters of the state on May 23," president JKEJCC, Mohammad Gaffor Dar, told reporters here today.

Dar said, the organisation will submit a memorandum to respective District Commissioners across the state, adding that the Jammu unit of JKEJCC will also protest outside the office of Divisional Commissioner.

The organisation is demanding enhancement of retirement age from 58 years to 60 years, regularisation policy for all daily rated workers and removal of pay anomalies, among other things.
