John Ortiz to star in 'Steve Jobs'

'Blackhat' actor Joh Ortiz has joined the cast of much-awaited biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Ortiz, 46, will play Joel Pforzheimer, the GQ magazine journalist who is seen interviewing Jobs (Michael Fassbender) throughout the Aaron Sorkin-penned film, reported Deadline.

The film which kicked off production last month in San Francisco, is being directed by 'Slumdog Millionaire' helmer Danny Boyle.

The film will release on October 9 this year.
