Jt Director suspended for illegal transfers

Guman Singh, Joint Director of the department posted in Jodhpur, was transferring staffers in the name of 'departmental arrangements' without any direction from the medical directorate or the state government.

"There was no direction from the medical directorate or the state government and he did not seek permission for that, so he was suspended," Principal Secretary, Medical and Health, B N Sharma said.

The transfers he made have also been cancelled and an inquiry has been ordered in the matter, he said.
