The Punjab government today appointed Dilsher Singh Kalha as the chairman of the State Food Commission on regular basis.
The government issued notification in this regard in continuation of the earlier orders issued December 27, 2013, an official spokesperson said.
With this notification, the government has set up the Commission on permanent basis and appointed Kalha as its chairman on regular basis.
The other terms and condition relating to service conditions of Kalha would be issued later on separately, the Spokesperson added.
