Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' to hit theatres on 25 December, 2015

Filmmaker Karan Johar's delayed project 'Shuddhi' will hit theatres next Christmas.

The 41-year-old director's film has been in news for the constant delays it had to face in the wake of actor Hrithik Roshan health problems, which eventually led the superstar to quit the movie.

"'Shuddhi' will release on Friday the 25th of December, 2015...The lead cast will be announced shortly...," Johar announced on Twitter.

Had Hrithik continued with the film, it would have reunited him with his 'Agneepath' director Karan Malhotra.

Johar is currently basking in the success of his film 'Hasee Toh Phasee', which had a good run at the box office.
