Karunanidhi to lead DMK protest against Land Bill

DMK President M Karunanidhi will lead the party's protest against the NDA's Land Acquisition Act here on Friday.

While Karunanidhi will head the protest at Valluvar Kottam area here, his son and party Treasurer M K Stalin would lead the agitation at Tiruvarur, a DMK release said here.

DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan and senior leader Durai Murugan would lead the protests outside the Collectorates at Chennai and Vellore respectively.

The DMK has been opposing NDA's Land Acquisition Act and has also criticised arch rival AIADMK for extending support to the bill in the Lok Sabha.
