Protesting the state government's "apathy" towards their various demands, members of the All Kerala Retail Ration Dealer's Association would close down their shops throughout the state on July 7.
Ration dealers had been demanding increase in their commission, but nothing had been done by the government, association General Secretary T Muhammedali told reporters here.
The association had also decided not to cooperate with the government in the ration card renewal programme till the demands were solved, he said.
