Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accorded administrative approval of over Rs 25 crore for the widening and strengthening of roads in different districts of the state, an official said today.
Spokesperson of the public works (building and roads) department said an amount of over Rs 12.61 crore was approved for strengthening of Karnal- Assandh-Jind-Hansi-Tosham-Behal Sodhiwas road in Charkhi Dadri district.
In the same district, the stretch between Jhumpa Kalan Behal Kairu to Behal Lohani will be strengthened at a cost of over Rs 2.67 crore, the official said.
Over Rs 3.90 crore was approved for widening the road from Dabarki to Dhakwala in Karnal district and over Rs 5.47 crore will be spent for widening and raising the link road from Sadhaura Kotla to Sadhaura Kala Amb in Yamunanagar district, the official added.
