The ADGP said he would review the arrangements with the station house officers and deputy superintendents of police of their respective areas.
Additional police force will be made available in the districts. All deputy commissioners and superintendents of police have been asked to ensure installation of boards at significant places to guide the kanwarias, Akil said,

In view of the yatra, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Panipat and Sonipat are sensitive districts as the number of kanwars there remains high. Similarly, the districts of Rohtak, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mewat and Palwal are sensitive from the standpoint of law and order, he said.
