Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said
working class formed the foundation of government structure and their dedicated work fetches good name to it.
Addressing about 200 workers and civic workers at her 67th birthday celebrations held at Rajnivas here, she saidevery weekend she would be with the workers at 6 AM and announced that she would reward the workers for their 'good work'.
A release from Rajnivas said the Lt Governor celebrated her birthday today by stressing the motto 'work is worship imbibed in her by her mother.'
Officials of Police and General Administration were among those who greeted the Lt Governor on her birthday.
The release said the working class assured her that they would put in dedicated work to realise the dream of 'prosperous' Puducherry.
