A Nepali labourer allegedly killed his wife and two children, including a two-month-old son, with an axe in Jubbal area of Shimla district today.
After killing his 38-year-old wife and two minor children, Jai Bahadur (40) fled from the home in Jhaldi village, police said.
However, Bahadur did not attack the other two daughters who were at home.

One of the daughters told the police that her father hit her mother, younger sister and brother with an axe and fled.
She said that they ran to their uncle's place for safety, police said.
"A case of murder has been registered, all the forest areas are being combed to nab him," Shimla Superintendent of Police D W Negi said.
"Bahadur was working as a household labourer for the past five years and his employer was based in Mauritius.
"The motive behind the crime would be known only after the accused was arrested and interrogated," he said.
