A lady constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her quarter in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district Tuesday, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Bhilwara Arun Machya, the constable was married a year ago and her husband lives in Sikar.
The reason for her suicide was not clear and the matter is under investigation, he added.
She had resumed her duties on October 21 after four days of leave, said Station house officer of Kareda police station Morpal Gurjar.
