Bowling at a speed of 82 mph, Lakshmiyan recorded the fastest delivery at the 'MoneyGram Golden Arm Bowling Challenge' which concluded here today.
About 500 bowlers participated in the two-day event in which Lakshmiyan was adjudjed the fastest bowler and awarded cash prize of Rs 10,000.
India's top four fastest bowlers will receive tickets to watch the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 match, a release said here.
The Golden Arm Bowling Challenge will now move to Puducherry and then head to Telangana as part its nation-wide tour.
The challenge has already commenced in Gujarat, Kerala, Punjab, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
