The Harish Rawat government today decided to revise the circle rates of land in Uttarakhand and increase pension of retirees across the board.
With regard to the revision of land rates, a committee, chaired by Finance Minister, would be constituted, official sources said.
The Finance Secretary and District Magistrates of all districts will be members of the commitee, the sources said.

Holding its first cabinet meeting after the Uttarakhand High Court quashed the imposition of President's rule in the state, the Harish Rawat government decided to increase the pension of retirees by Rs 200 per month.
There are about 6.5 lakh pensioners in the state and the increase will put a burden of Rs 13 crore on the state exchequer.
In the wake of drought situation, the Uttarkhand government would give Rs 5 crore to each district to deal with the crisis, the sources said.
It was decided that Malin Basti dwellers would be given ownership rights and Rath Mahavidyalaya in Pauri would be brought under the state government, they said.
Earlier, the Uttarakhand High Court quashed the imposition of President's rule in the state and revived the Congress government headed by Harish Rawat, asking him to prove majority on April 29.
