Lead down by 0.1% on subdued spot demand

Weak global cues also affected prices

Lead down by 0.1% on subdued spot demand

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Lead eased 0.14% to Rs 110.75 per kg in futures trade today largely due to subdued spot demand and weak global cues.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the contracts in December fell 15 paise or 0.14% to Rs 110.75 per kg in a business turnover of 120 lots.

However, the January 2016 contracts of the metal were trading flat at Rs 111.60 per kg in three lots.

Marketmen said the fall in lead futures was due to a subdued demand from battery-makers at domestic markets and weak global cues.
