Leaders pay tribute to former Delhi CM Khurana
Rich tributes were paid to former Delhi chief minister Madan Lal Khurana during his Uthala ceremony held on Tuesday.
The BJP veteran, 82, passed away last Saturday night.
A condolence message of BJP chief Amit Shah was read out in the ceremony.
Khurana's passing away is the party loosing its guide, Shah said in the message.
BJP general secretary (organization) Ramlal said Khurana had strengthened Delhi's identity in the entire country.
A number of party leaders including Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari, Bhupender Yadav, Mangeram Garg, Jagdish Mukhi, among others attended the ceremony.
