Leopard kills 3-yr-old boy in J&K

A three-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, police said today.

The victim, Mehraj-ud-din Bhat, was playing in the verandah of his house in Kahipora village in Handwara, 80 kms from here, last evening when the wild cat attacked the boy and dragged him to a nearby forest, a police spokesperson said.

The body was retrieved from the forest this morning, he said.
