Light rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh even as the western parts witnessed dry weather.
According to the Met department here, moderate to dense fog occurred at few places across the state whereas isolated places witnessed dense to very dense fog.
The night temperature was markedly below normal in Jhansi division, above normal in Varanasi, Allahabad divisions and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
The minimum temperature recorded was 4 degree Celsius at Nazibabad.
