Light to moderate rains lash parts of UP

Light to moderate rains occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh while some areas received heavy rains or thundershowers in the last 24 hours.

According to the Met department here, chief amount of rainfall in cm was at Machlisahar 7, Bansgaon and Varanasi 3 each, Lucknow and Robertsgunj 2 each, Chatnag, Elginbridge, Harriya, Dudhi and Rajghat 1 each.

It predicted that rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over the state tomorrow.
