Local train services affected in Sealdah Main section

Local train services in Sealdah main section of Eastern Railway were affected tonight owing to passengers' agitation against delay in train movement.

Eastern Railway sources said the services were affected from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm when two EMU locals were delayed triggering demonstration by commuters.

The two trains were Sealdah-Naihati and Sealdah-Gede.

Police had to be called in to pacify the protesters and the services were restored after 10:30 pm.
