The Lok Adalat will for the first time address disputes by consumers of CESC Limited and WBSEDCL here tomorrow.
The main motive of the Lok Adalat was that litigants could make their own submissions without appointing a lawyer and without incurring any expense, a statement by the 39th Lok Adalat said.
Justice (Retd.) Narayan Chandra Sil, Justice (Retd) Pradipta Roy and Justice (Retd) Sailen Talukdar were scheduled to preside over three separate benches for dealing with the cases of the Lok Adalat relating to electricity disputes.
Earlier Lok Adalats dealt with cases relating to insurance and motor accident claims.
