Madan Mitra loses from Kamarhati, CPI(M) wins
Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra, who is in jail in connection with the Saradha chitfund scam case, lost his Kamarhati seat by 4,198 votes. CPI(M) candidate Manash Mukherjee won the seat.
