Maha BJP chief Fadnavis gets 'efficient MLA' award

Maharashtra BJP president Devendra Fadnavis was bestowed upon the "efficient MLA" award at a function here.

Fadnavis, the MLA from south-west Nagpur, received the award at the hands of noted water conservationist Rajendra Singh, last evening.

The award carries Rs 50,000 in cash and a memento.

The award is constituted by Sarvajanik Vachnalaya from the donation given by late MLC and journalist Madhavrao Limaye's daughter Dr Shobha Nerlikar.

In his speech, Fadnavis emphasised on cultivating habit of reading in the era of fast-paced information technology.
