Maha CM asks officials to allot land for Thrust Aircraft plant

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today asked officials to initiate process for allotment of land at Palghar to Thrust Aircraft Pvt Ltd.

Fadnavis has also asked them to expeditiously get the approval of the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) for the project.

The chief minister has suggested at a meeting that the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) could partner in the project.

Thrust Aircraft Pvt Ltd is Captain Amol Yadav's project of manufacturing 19-seater aircraft. The project is expected to make inter-state air travel viable and connect 30 airports in the state.

Simultaneously, process for validation of technology will be initiated in discussion with the Centre, Fadnavis said at the meeting.
