Maha: Govt official trapped for accepting bribe of Rs 30

A government official was today trapped while allegedly accepting bribe from a complainant who was seeking his income extract.

Following a complaint, sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jalgaon trapped Pratapsing Babusing Rajput, the Talathi (government official) of Sakli villege in Yawal tehsil in the district, while accepting bribe of Rs 30 at his office, an ACB release said.

A case soon be registered at the Yawal police station, it said, adding necessary action will be initiated.
