Maize prices strengthened by Rs 10 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale grains market today on pick-up in demand against restricted supplies from producing regions.
However, other grains traded in a narrow range on scattered support and settled at last levels.
Traders said besides pick up in demand, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in maize prices.

In the national capital, maize moved up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,610-1,615 per quintal.
