Mamata welcomes BCCI, PCB to meet in Kolkata

West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee on Monday "welcomed" the officials of India and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to meet here in the wake of Shiv Sena workers protest at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai.
"Hearing about incidents related to disruption of BCCI work in Mumbai. Cricket Board welcome to meet in Kolkata," Mamata wrote in her official Twitter handle.
Shiv Sena workers today barged into the BCCI headquarters in protest against Board president Shashank Manohar's planned talks with PCB chief Shaharyar Khan for resumption of bilateral cricketing ties.
The talks on the proposed bilateral series have now been rescheduled to be held in Delhi tomorrow.
