A man and his four-year-old son were found murdered in Gorakhpur district, police said here today.
The deceased, identified as Om Prakash Yadav (40) and his son, were killed last night in Ashok Nagar locality in Shahpur area of Gorakhpur district, by some unidentified people, who hit them on their heads with blunt objects, police said.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said, adding no arrests have been made so far in this connection.

Meanwhile Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in Thiruvananthapuram that the DGP had been instructed to constitute a Special Investigating Team to probe the murder.
Terming the incident as 'very unfortunate', he said these kinds of heinous acts should not recur and that society should isolate the persons reponsible for such crimes.
Vijayan said government would soon bring the accused before the law.
