A 30-year-old man has alleged he was brutally beaten up by police men after his car hit a motorcycle on patrol in Rohini's Prashant Vihar area.
However, the police denied the charge and said Amit was driving in an inebriated condition.
The incident occurred on the night of May 18. A medical examination of the accused was conducted and he was found to be drunk.

There were no injury marks on his body barring an abrasion on his arm, which he sustained while stepping out of the vehicle, the police said.
A senior police officer said Amit's claims will be probed.
