Man arrested for molesting British woman

A man was arrested for allegedly molesting a British woman teacher in West Bengal's Darjeeling district, police said today.

"Dhiren Barman, a colleague of the 50-year-old woman, was arrested from Balasan colony in Matigara last night. He was absconding since April 4 when the woman lodged a complaint of molestation against him," Matigara police station ASI R P Sarkar said.

The woman teaches in a school run by a local NGO in Matigara, police said.
