Man arrested with 10 kg of cannabis in Jammu

A man was arrested today from the outskirts of the city and 10 kg of cannabis seized from him, a police spokesperson said.

After receiving a tip-off, Burmin was arrested at Chowadi in Sainik Colony area, he said, adding a case has been registered against him.

Another police party intercepted a load carrier at Talli Morh in R S Pura in the outskirts of the city and seized 30 pouches of illicit liquor, the spokesperson said.

A case has been registered. No one has been arrested in this connection so far, he said.
