Man arrested with counterfeit currency

A man from Bihar was arrested in Gurgaon with fake currency notes having face value of Rs 19,000, police said today.
Vishwanath was arrested from Khandsa Market with five fake notes of Rs 1,000 and 28 fake notes of Rs 500 each, totalling Rs 19,000, said Sanjeep Kumar, police inspector of Sector 10 Special Crime Cell.
"We reached the spot an a tip-off and arrested Vishwanath while he was trying to make purchases with the fake notes," Kumar said.
