Man arrested with illicit liquor in Jammu

Police today arrested a person and recovered 470 pouches of illicit liquor from him in the outskirts of Jammu city.

One Ram Ditta was intercepted at Mishriwala in the outskirts of Jammu city and 470 pouches of illicit liquor was seized from his possession, police said.

The accused has been arrested and a case under Excise Act was registered against him, they said, adding investigation was underway.
