Man arrested with stolen idols
Police today arrested a person and seized three idols worth Rs. 2.75 lakh from his possession.
A police team nabbed Shabir Ali and seized three idols, two of Lord Krishna and one of Goddess Durga, from his possession. They are worth Rs. 2.75 lakh, SP, Amethi, Hira Lal said.
The idols were stolen on August 31 from a temple at Shamsheriyan village.
