Man carrying 11 kg of poppy straw arrested
One person has been arrested for allegedly carrying 11 kg of poppy straw here, police said today.
A team of police officers intercepted the man near the bus stand on BC Road here last evening and seized 11 kg of poppy straw from his possession, they said.
An FIR has been registered against him and a probe is underway, they added.
