Man found dead in flood channel in J&K

The body of a 27-year-old man was found in a flood channel in Shergari area here today, the police said.

The body was found in the flood channel near Tengpora bridge in the city, a police official said.

He said the man has been identified as Mohammad Yaseen Sheikh, a resident of Aloochi Bagh area of the city.

Proceedings under CrPC sections related to suicide have been initiated and investigation is going on, the official said.
