Man gets life term for killing wife in Coimbatore
A court here today sentenced a 35-year-old man to life term for murdering his wife about two years ago.
Judge R Pongiappan awarded the sentence to S Ravi for murdering his wife Leena.
The prosecution case was that Ravi, a daily wage earner, used to quarrel frequently with his wife under the influence of alcohol.
Unable to bear the torture, Leena had a quarrel with Ravi on March 24 in 2015.
Later, when Leena was asleep, Ravi strangled her to death.
