One person was taken into custody today in connection with the April 28 attack on the village office at Vellarda, about 45 km from here, which left six persons injured.
The man was detained from Adoor in Pathanmthitta district, police said.
Six persons were injured and some office materials destroyed when the man ignited some inflammable solution inside the village office.
A local issue was stated to be the reason for the incident, police added.
