A 27-year-old man was arrested and two country-made pistols and six cartridges were recovered from him, police said today.
Suresh Pithava was arrested from Tapovan locality last evening at a bus stand and two pistols and cartridges were found on him, an official from Panchvati police station said.
Police have increased vigil in the wake of rising crime graph in the city.
