Man held with illicit liquor in Doda

A man was arrested with 57 pouches of illicit liquor in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Mushtaq Ahmed was seen roaming in suspicious circumstances at Goha-Marmat area of the district yesterday. He was stopped for checking during which police recovered 57 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.

He was arrested on the spot. A case was registered against him under various sections of the Excise Act, they said.
