Man involved in supply of hand grenades arrested

A man allegedly involved in supply of hand grenades to insurgent outfits was arrested today by a joint team of police and 21 Mahar Regiment of the Army from Baksa district of Assam, a senior police official said.
The arrested person was identified as Ram Tudu of No.1 Paharpur village, Inspector General of Police Dr L R Bishnoi said.
Altogether 14 HE-36 hand grenades and five detonators were recovered from his possession, Bishnoi said.
Tudu was planning to supply the grenades to extremist groups, the IGP said.
