Man killed by brothers over land dispute

A man was beaten to death allegedly by his brothers over a land dispute in Leharpur area, police said today.

32-year-old Rampal Verma was assaulted by his brothers Ramakant and Neraj over a land dispute in Jagdishpur village yesterday.

Rampal later succumbed to injuries, police said.

Both the accused are absconding and the body has been sent for post-mortem, they said.
