A man allegedly killed his 70-year-old father who he suspected of having developed illicit relations with his wife at Karsindhu village of the district, police said today.
The accused identified as Randhir allegedly beat his father Amar Singh to death with a rod at their house last evening, police said.
Following a complaint lodged by Randhir's wife, a murder case has been registered against the accused who is absconding.
The complainant alleged that her husband suspected his father had illicit relations with her.
