Man kills two daughters, injures wife over family dispute

A man today allegedly killed his two daughters and injured his wife over a family dispute in Rewati area, police said here.

The accused Govardhan attacked his wife Chandramuni with a sharp-edged weapon this morning and when his daughters Rishu (12) and Rinki (10) attempted to intervene he injured them seriously, they said.

The trio were rushed to the district hospital where Rishu and Rinki died, they said, adding that his wife is still battling for her life.
