Man kills wife in a fit of anger

In a fit of anger, a man allegedly killed his 45-year-old wife after an argument over a trivial issue this morning, police said.

Rajkumari Bairwa was killed by her husband Kishori Lal, a resident of Sakatpura area, with a knife, Sub-Inspector Ram Prasad said.

The man fled the spot after the incident. A case has been registered at the Kunhari Police Station and he has been booked for murder, the officer said.

The couple entered into an argument over a trivial issue and in a fit of anger the man killed her, Prasad said, adding that the accused is a retired government employee.
 

The body has been handed over to family members after post mortem, he said.
