Man murders brother's wife

A man allegedly murdered his elder brother's wife over suspicion of extra-marital affair in Mansarover area here.

Naresh allegedly strangulated Pushpa, wife of his brother Kishan, and left the house on a motorcycle to commit suicide.

He called Kishan and informed about the murder and said he will end his life also by the evening, police said.

When Kishan rushed to his house, he found his wife dead. He informed the police who traced the number of Naresh and managed to arrest him near Jal Mahal when he was speaking over the phone to his relatives about the matter.

"The accused said that he had suspected Pushpa of having an extra-marital affair with a neighbour and so he decided to kill her. After the murder, he also wanted to commit suicide because of the crime he committed but he was caught by the police in time so he could not took the step," he said.
 

Pushpa, a mother of two children, was the cousin of Kishan but they developed relations and married some six years ago.
