Man robbed of car in Uttar Pradesh

A man was allegedly waylaid by two bike-borne assailants here and robbed of a car at Chaumuha town, an official said.

Yadvir Singh, told the police in a complaint that the robbers forced him to stop the car yesterday, he said.

Singh claimed that the robbers pointed a pistol at him, his driver and one more person sitting in the car, and asked them to abandon the vehicle, the official said.

While one person took the car, other decamped with the motorbike, the victim in his complaint said.

On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered at Vrindaban Police Station and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, Deputy SP Vijai Shankar Mishra said.
 

Three teams have been formed to nab the robbers, he said.
