Man robbed of parcels

A Manager of a parcel company was robbed in broad daylight near the high security IGI Airport here allegedly by unidentified assailants this morning.

According to the police, Vikram Singh who is a manager at Marudhar Express service Pvt, had come to the airport along with another employee Hariom to collect his parcels at around 10:30 am.

"After collecting the parcels, they moved towards Aerocity road through underpass on their scooter.

"Meanwhile, a white SUV stopped right next to them. In a matter of seconds, three men came out of the car, pointed a gun at Singh and took away the parcel along with keys of the scooter," said a police official.
 

According to Singh, the estimated cost of these parcels is said to be about Rs 50,000.

On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against unidentified persons and efforts are on to nab them, police said.
