Man sentenced to life imprisonment for killing wife over dowry

Additional District Sessions Judge Lukmanulhaq sentenced Dilshad to life imprisonment yesterday and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.

Dilshad murdered his wife Zahira at Gharipukhta town in Shamli district on February 2, 2009 over dowry demand, prosecution sources said.
