Man sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually abusing 2 kids

A court today awarded life imprisonment to a 45-year-old man for sexually abusing two minor girls last year.

Mahila Court Judge N Thirunavukkarasu awarded life sentence to Srinivasan of Sathyamangalam for sexually abusing two nine-year-old girls in June last year in Thirunagar.

The judge also recommended that the Tamil Nadu Government grant Rs two lakh each to the two children as compensation.

According to the prosecution, Srinivasan had lured the two girls to his house with sweets and then sexually abused them.

The children informed their parents, who lodged a complaint with police and Srinivasan was arrested.
